Calcium carbonate filler masterbatches

Calcium carbonate (CaCO3) filler masterbatch (or filler masterbatch) is a concentrated mixture of calcium carbonate and other additives encapsulated during a heat (mainly extrusion) process into a carrier polymer resin which is then cooled and cut into  granules (pellets) making CaCO3 masterbatch a solid additive for plastics. Since common CaCO3 MB was originally intended for filling plastics to replace a part of expensive carrier resin it is often called filler masterbatch or filler additive.

Calcium carbonate filler masterbatches we offer is the most effective cost-saving solution for worldwide plastic processors.

Calcium carbonate filler masterbatches not only cuts down plastic production costs by replacing a part of virgin polymer during extrusion, injection and blow molding, but also increases output, improves production conditions as well as a number of physical and chemical properties of finished plastic products.

With a variety of choices in the market Calcium carbonate filler masterbatches may remarkably differ in quality due to different formulations (CaCO3 content, carrier polymers type & content, chemical additives), compounding technologies as well as technical team skills they were made with/by, even in the same country or geographical area.

Calcium carbonate filler masterbatches

  • High quality filler with 25% content.
  • good dispersion
  • strong stability and non-toxic features
  • higher whiteness and transparency compared with other same masterbatch in the market
  • environmental friendly
  • won’t change the performance of the base material

  • Injection molding
  • Blowing film
  • Extrustion pipe
  • Blowing bottle
  • Wiredrawing
